Sochi 2014 Student Design Competition
Design Team Canada’s bobsleds for the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympic games. Competition was open to all designers enrolled at ACAD.
My biggest inspiration came from Canada’s natural beauty and natural elements such as water, snow, ice, and mountains. Our vast plains, Rocky Mountains and glaciers are what makes us so unique from other nations. My design was meant to fuse these three things by creating an abstract representation of a true Canadian winter.

Totally re-design an existing company by re-branding it or by entirely re-creating it with a new name, logo and graphic identity for it and demonstrate this across a number of key applications.
WHY BON TON MEAT MARKET?
They are an upscale brand that sells premium, fresh, and local meat products. It originated in Calgary since 1921 and has been a family owned business for generations. I chose this company because I loved the idea of re-branding a traditional, outdated company that has a lot to offer, however, their current brand doesn't reflect the quality of their products and rich, Calgarian history.
They are young professionals, new home owners, and they love to socialize. They strongly believe good food brings people together so they enjoy hosting dinner parties and BBQing for their friends. They like showing off their food through social media accounts and are always searching for new ways to entertain their guests with new recipes. They are, simply, foodies.
For wannabe cooks who want to learn how to get the most out of their cut of meat, Bon Ton is a premium, local meat market that provides an educational experience. Unlike any other markets, Bon Ton butchers have over 250 years of experience who educate their consumers the best way to cook their meat that caters to their needs.
Student Information Design project
Write and design a book for a subject of your choosing. The book must include various levels of information graphics.
For young, movie fanatics who enjoy drinking and want a tangible item to show them interesting facts about cocktails featured in movies. “Mixed Reviews” provides layers of interesting information revolving around the famous drink, how it relates to the character and some historical facts on alcohol.
The book will be packaged with a cocktail glass featuring one of the 14 illustrations of a character. This makes the glasses a collectible item where consumers can collect all 14 glasses and make their favourite drinks from their favourite movie.
